Due to instability issues, I will stop using Unreal Engine 5 for development
Although I was aware that Unreal Engine 5 was not Officially out, I was still able to push out cinematics and animations so I believed I could get away with it.
There was a massive update for Unreal Engine 5, where they update the UI, improved functionality and made several repairs. However whatever they changed, affect my project. The project "Opens" but doesn't "Load". It doesn't recognize the landscape as an asset refuses to load anything else. So rather than sit around and wait for a fix, it would be more time efficient to move builds.
I'm adapting the Zion project to Unreal Engine 4.27, which is their latest official build
Q: But Mark, what does this mean?
It means I will have to rebuild the whole the project since I cant simply Downgrade
Q: What about the assets?
The content themselves are reusable. The issues are the instructions coded for each asset.
Q: But doesn't that suck?
But its not the end of the world. UE5 was not official so there were things I could not use such as certain trees, sky effects, UI etc. So the Brightside to all this is that I can now do what I want
